Nanofibre eco e bio-sostenibili

Ricercatori dell'Università del Massachusetts a hanno sviluppato dei tessuti formati da fibre a scala nanometrica eco e non tossiche che possono essere utilizzate in applicazioni medicali, ambientali e imballaggio alimentare. La ricerca è sostenuta da una sovvenzione di 338.180 USD per una durata di tre anni dalla National Science Foundation.
Le fibre risultanti sono molto stabili anche se esposte a temperature elevate o sono immerse in solventi organici.
